I am currently open to job opportunities.

I am a third-year PhD candidate in Innovative Media Technology, a joint programme between the University of Surrey and the University of Wollongong, supervised by Dr Andrew Gilbert and Dr Femi Adeyemi-Ejeye at Surrey, and Prof Wanqing Li at Wollongong. My research lies in computer vision, particularly video understanding, human motion analysis, and interpretable models, spanning image and video analysis, and action recognition and action quality assessment.

Before starting my PhD, I worked as a full-time Algorithm Engineer at Aibee Inc., developing and optimising deep learning models for intelligent retail and transportation, including event detection and multi-camera vehicle/object/person tracking. Since December 2024, I have also worked part-time as a Research Assistant at the University of Surrey on video quality research, investigating the impact of network packet loss on user experience in VR-based video conferencing, as well as the effects of low-light conditions and compression rate on video quality.

I received my B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, and my M.Sc. in Media and Arts Technology (with Distinction) from Queen Mary University of London, supervised by Prof. Ebroul Izquierdo.
